The journalists on the abscissa, the movies on the ordinate and here we go! For one film you have grades from third-rate film to masterpiece. We might as well say, by following this, that you have as much chance to appreciate the film than to hate it. If only we could know what tastes those reviewers have. What genres do they like? Which movies do they love? We could know then who to follow and find out which movie we must not miss…
From those observations the concept of Cinesia.NET was born: offer net surfers the ability to read reviews that match their movie tastes!
On this website, movies have several reviews, written by journalists that have, of course, their own tastes. But in order to make you able to determine which reviewer matches you the best, each of them owes a personalised profile page, on which is summarized his or her cinematographic tendencies, favourite directors, preferred genres and much more. Everything to make you able to find out who to follow and therefore which review to listen, in order to ensure the success of your movie nights out or DVD soirées.

The 1st method consists in going on the “personality profile” pages of our reviewers. For each reviewer you’ll find a wide insight about the movies, genres, directors and actors-tresses that the reviewer likes particularly, as well as an exhaustive list of all of his articles. Then quickly, you’ll be able to determine wetter or not the journalist is like you when it comes to movies, and find which one suits better to your cinematographic tastes. |
The 2nd method: go read the reviews about a movie that you know well and on which you have an unbreakable opinion. Then look who’s the author of the review that fits better to your opinion. Clicking on his name will bring you on his profile page listing all of his other articles. You’ll then be able to know which journalist you’ll have to follow to make your next movie experience a success. |
The 3nd method, as for it, demands a bit more time since it’s about going on the forum (or message board) and present yourself. Don’t write a novel, the most important is to expose clearly the movies that you consider to be great! Our reviewer team (and the other members) will guide you more accurately and personally suggesting titles that best follow your cinematographic criterias. |

For each review, the author specifies evaluations about the movie. As you maybe noticed, in addition to the overall grade, we provide specific evalutations on the direction, the actor's performances, the story itself and the music. That way you can really see what are the movie's strenghts or what's pulling it down.
Plus! We have what we call the "revisibility factor" indicating wether you can watch the movie over and over again withtout losing interest, or if it's really a one time occasion. |
